PTO Social and Garden Meeting


Tonight was a wonderful meeting celebrating the success of the Memory Garden and all the hardworking people involved in its establishment.

From left to right: Mr. Herb Knox from Lowes in Anderson presented a grant check for $3500 to PTO head, Janice Lee and Pendleton Elementary School Principal , Gwen Massey, and Sue Watts, school volunteer.

    Great work, Sue! I am so excited about the Memory Garden and all the new enthusiasm and energy. I am anxious to see what the Grade Level Garden Clubs come up with.

    What a great project, and I look forward to helping! I probably won't be able to be there on the next posted work days, but count me in for seeds, and mid-week digging and weeding.
