The Pendleton Elementary School Memory Garden was begun in 2006 in memory of Mrs. Debra Peebles and Mrs. Brenda Baker, beloved former teachers at the school. Parents, faculty, students and community volunteers have united in an effort to make the garden a center of learning, performance, enjoyment and celebration for years to come. A spring opening ceremony is planned in April 2009.
We're hosting an event to promote vegetable gardening that morning, but I hope you'll have lots of help!
